Selma Noort & Sandra Klaassen (illustrations)
3 years and up

Each book has 24 stories about the two toddlers Bart and Esra. They are eachothers neighbours in the same apartment. Bart lives there with his mam and dad. Esra with anne and baba. These are the Turkish words for mam and dad. Bart and Esra are close friends. Short stories about daily life, warm and funny. The two books are very attractive for toddlers, because of the full colour illustrations by Sandra Klaassen.

'Catch me, if you can! is a nice book with short stories to read to toddlers. About pure, unexpected thoughts of toddlers. If the second book is as promising as the first book, I shall be glad to hear of it. Come along with another book full of real original stories!'

Jan Stroeve & Froukje Stroeve (illustrations)
6 years and up

In 2002 Jan Stroeve wrote this promising first appearance. It is a story about a rich and annoyed elephant, named uncle Bob, who wants to be immortal by writing a book. His problem is, that he has never had any adventure to write about.
He decides to build a ship and to make a journey. He doesn't know how to manage this ship on his own. Nobody wants to join him. Until a small, shy and nondescriptive girl checks in. Together they part for an adventurous trip to the sea.
Uncle Bob shows that he is a clumsy grumbler.
The girl turns out to be very courageous.
A story full of fantasy, excitement and humour.
